Hawker Cyclon Batteries are known to withstand extreme temperatures and rugged conditions. Their pure lead, thin-plate, rechargeable cells can solve many of the problems that are associated with conventional lead-alloy batteries. They use a patented sealed construction, starved-electrolyte system that has numerous advantages, which include longer service life, extreme temperature performance, fast recharge, high discharge rates and low internal resistance.
In addition to the standard cylindrical configurations, the Hawker Cyclon batteries cells offer a high degree of flexibility to meet unusual requirements. The 2.5Ah, 4.5Ah, 5.0Ah, 8.0Ah, 12.0Ah and 25.0Ah models cells can be custom configured in virtually an infinite number of designs in order to meet your precise voltage and amp-hour requirements.
Hawker Cyclon Batteries Standard Descriptions
Hawkers Cyclon cells are ideal for small ampere-hour applications up to 25Ah. The sealed-lead construction has a patented grid-alloy and uses a starved-electrolyte system, which provides for numerous advantages.
Standard batteries are offered based on a number of combinations of the Cyclon cells and are available in 2, 6 and 12 volt configurations with capacities ranging from 2.5Ah to 25Ah.
You can get either rigid plastic cases or shrink wrap packaging for your Hawker batteries. Cases are available for most designs in either flame-retardant ABS Cycolac material, meeting UL94VO flammability rating, or Styrene (available only in 2X3 D and X battery configurations). Some of the cases do have mounting holes. The rigid plastic cases are recommended for applications in which the battery must withstand vibration, movement or extreme weather conditions, where as shrink wrap packaging should be used for applications in which the battery will remain stationary.
